Born and raised in Michigan, I’m a dedicated seamstress and fiber artist with a 13-year presence in Holly and its surrounding areas. My journey began with a passion for sewing, but it blossomed into something extraordinary when I discovered the sumptuous world of alpaca fiber. Enamored by the luxurious feel of alpaca wool, my passion for sewing and a desire to blend art into fashionable garments took on a life of its own, coming about FabFibers.
The Journey from Alpaca to Art
As a proud alpaca raiser, I blend alpaca wool with a spectrum of natural fibers and fabrics, including silk and linen. Through intricate needle and wet felting processes, I create custom fabrics that serve as the foundation for my unique wearables of alpaca wool clothes.
Dyeing and Botanical Prints
My fabric base extends beyond alpaca, incorporating purchased yardage of dyed natural fibers adorned with botanical prints, capturing the essence of leaves and flowers. Join me in celebrating the seamless fusion of art and fashion at Fabulous Fibers Alpaca Farm.
